Push-up's and bounces on an exersize ball are very helpful. So is picking up a heavy object, holding it out far, and doing squats. By doing these. my thighs went from 47 inches to 35 inches. Not bad in my opinion.;)

Well probably the most effective way to trim thighs and calves is to run every morning not to mention running will help your whole body not just your legs.
Two words baby.. Sit ups.. it works where you need it most.
