I don't know if diet can help with the bacteria in your pores. But I can tell you that the Proactive stuff on the infomercials does work, and they sell a generic at places like CVS called AcneFree that's even cheaper. I haven't had a single pimple since I started using it about a year ago.
I used to have really bad acne when i was that age...but my mom forced me to drink alot of water....like 8 or more glasses a day and I stopped using regular soap on my face...I guess she said it dries out your face more so your body tries to make up for it by producing more oil and if u have clogged pores it will cause you to break out...The best thing to do in my opinion is to have them wash thier face seperately from thier shower....With really hot water...and then use something like clearasil face wash..something specific to faces but something that doesnt dry out the skin....then to drink alot of water during the course of a day...hopefully that will help..my mom is a doctor so she knows what she is talking about..hope it helps
While diet may help acne is a medical problem and needs to be treated medically to really help. I would suggest talking to a doctor about a medication called Acutane as that is what really helped me.
i had this prob when i was ur age the right way of eating sure will help but u should rinse it around 3 times a day plus some creams that are given by a dermatologist will help u a lot this is how i got rid of them
The right diet is a good start. I got my son to use a product from Avon that has really helped. It is a 3-in-1 cleanser, toner moisturizer. He began to use it before he went to bed and there began to be a difference in about 2 weeks. He didn't like the thought of using Avon because he thought it was "girls stuff", but after it started to clear up the acne he didn't complain. Just remember not to wash the face more than twice a day, because washing to many time a day can get the skin to overproduce the oils it thinks it needs to protect itself.
Good Luck.
If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:
