The best time of day to take your multi-vitamins is in the morning with food-the food will help in the absorbtion with the vitamins.
I think it is best to take them in the morning. I have done it that way for years.
Take them on a full belly is the most important thing so that they can be absorbed slowly.
Vitamin supplements are called just that, because they supplement, or add to the nutrition in food you eat.
As the body gears up for the absorption of nutrients when it senses food has entered, it makes sense to take vitamins with food to take advantage of those absorption processes.
Take them with breakfast. It's better to be taking these sorts of things WITH food. If you don't, you could get a nasty chemical burn on your throat (trust me, I know).
I don't think there is a time of day which is really best, but I always take them with food. It may be good for absorption, and I know it prevents me from becoming nauseated (which is good enough motivation). Therefore, I would take them early in the day. I try not to eat shortly before bed, for obvious reasons.
