Look at what i ate today and how terrible i am!!?

cereal, baked doritos, shrimp lo mein, an apple, a hot dog on bun, baked beans, a deviled egg

i am 13 and here are the totals.

982 calories
36 grams of fat
126 grams of carbs

will u please make me feel better or tell me how bad i did? thank you.

hun, you need at LEAST 1400 calories a day to get the nutrients you need!

If you're worried, then go healthy. Ask you're parents to get you organic foods and health cereals, etc. It's not too different and it actually tastes good. But don't go too crazy. It's okay to have a Snickers with lunch, or ice cream after dinner. as long as you don't chow down on the entire half gallon, you'll be fine. Also, exercise. It'll make you feel better, give you energy and push away that guilt of chowing down on your brother's halloween candy. Just be careful, safe, and you'll be fine!

You need more callories a day than that. I eat a lot of breads and Pasta like you do. When I cut down I lost weight. I know this sounds stupid now but fruit and veggies can be much more filling. This website helped me decide what to eat.. it might help you... www.glamour.com

get real. you have got to be kidding you didnt even eat 1000 calories. you think you ate bad. i ate a light english muffin with pb and honey, watermelon, chocolate calium thing. cheese cake. crakers, deep fried shrimp things, and OMG so much more. i probably ate like 1600 or more. god i totally pigged out. but i need to because i need to gain 10 pounds. how much do you weigh. i am 13 also
Don't worry you didn't do to bad- you actually ate fewer calories than you should. The one problem is though some of the food you ate was not very healthy for you (ex: baked doritos, hot dog, baked beans) replace those calories with foods that have the same calories but are much healthier. Excercise tomorrow and it will be like today never happened! Good Luck!!

You're still growing. You should be eating about twice the number calories you had today. And it's not all about the calories either. If you're going to concerned about food at age 13, then start some good habits. Fresh fruits and vegetables, low fat protein, good carbs. Lots of water. And quit worrying about your weight. There are so many more important things in the world. Learn something new every day. Help someone. Be a friend to a person in need and quit focusing on yourself so much.
u did not do bad except for maybe the junkfood but u had less calories than u were supposed to so thats ok.
shut up. I have an eating disorder and it makes me sick to see girls your age worrying about 900 calories when you should be eating 2000. You know what? You can be like me and have no boobs, no butt, no metabolism, no period, and no self esteem? How does that sound? Grow up and start taking care of yourself!
