I use the gym 5 times a week, but do the same exercise is this beneficial?
Question:
I walk to warm up for 4mins. Then jog for 3mins and run for 1min then repeat. Do this for 30 mins.
Cross trainer for 15 mins. Rowing machine for 15mins. I don't like any of the weights.
Answers:
SOme pros recommend doing 3 days of aerobic exercise (like running) and then the other days of weights or resistance training
yes, regular cv training is very beneficial. the only worry with doing the same exercises is that you will get bored. if you dont get bored, then keep doing what you are at the minute
no,start working out your arms and abs.
well if it has become easy and your used to it up the resistance or go faster because no it is not as beneficial as you are not pushing your body as hard as it is used to what you are doing.it will seem hard but keep it up im glad to see someone who enjoys it.
What gym do you belong to? if it is david lloyd or something like that then try getting a personal trainer (if you can afford it as they are expensive!!) they should go round the gym with you and tell you what you need to do...do it once a month or so and he/she will get you fitter. =D good luck
Every other day you should do something Else, and work difference area it will help you better. Mon, Wen, Fri, Do what you doing but on Tue, Thur, Sat. Do something Else, don't work the same muscle Evey day it can hurt you later.
On the rowing machine, do some hard intervals. Its a combination strength and endurance machine if you work it that way.
The regime you describe actually sounds very good, the only thing is it becomes boring for you and your muscles to do the same thing. Ringing the changes makes the whole thing more fun and interesting, it also is a good idea to give your muscles a change of pattern as well.
Yes it is beneficial, but as you get fitter and used to the excercise you will hit a plataea where you will not improve. Try throwing in a few new excercises to shake things up or just up the resistance/weight/distance of your current excercise. (i.e. if you are currently running a mile in say, 15 mins, try doing it in 10?)
I came across this great product for weight loss and it was excellent for me. Together with a good diet and exercise I am finally happy with my body and the way I look. You should check this product at

You are doing very well, but you do need to vary what you are doing, because you body will get used to what you are doing. Ideally you should change your routine every three or four weeks.
Also increase the time that you spend on each, so you are doing a little bit more every time
