I'm on a diet tommorow - I'm a Chick on a Diet.?


Question:
I was wondering which diet should I do?
1.) Raw Vegetable and Fruit Diet - it kind of explains it all.
Eat all raw vegetables and fruits. Many people has done it. The loss was about 14-18 pounds a month.
2.) 500 calorie diet.


Which one?

Answers:
Number one. 500 calories is rediculous. Women/ growing teenage gurls need atleast 1800.

500 is starving yourself and as soon as you stop- you put it all back on again. Thats the vicious cycle of anorexia my frend

try some exercise aswell

do some cardio in the morning before you eat. This way you burn off energy str8 from your fat source and do not burn energy from food you have already eaten which wuld b the case if u exercised later in the day. Running/biking/ swimming or any kind of cardio before bfast is a good good way to loose weight.

But yeah, do number 1 combined with exercise

you should do some research, find out how much you want to lose and in the long run, do the diet that suits you the most. Staying active also helps.
go with option 1. cuz 500 calories will not get you anything but a slow metabolism that doesn't digest your 500 calories fast and you won't be losing too much weight that way. plus...have you ever seen a fat vegiterian? haha
I say veggie & fruit But I would add at least 1 egg for breakfast & 1 dairy prouduct
well between those two it would be the raw diet because you should always eat 1000 or more calories for you to be able to lose weight
Do not diet. If you are looking to lose weight you are going to make life changes and diets are never a permanent life style change. Become more active than you are, does not mean running a marathon anything more than you already do is helpful. Then you need to control the amounts and types of food that you consume, I now it sounds like a diet but you have to get yourself to do this for the rest of your life, not just 3 months.
If you want to lose weight really fast and then gain it right back, I'm sure either one would work just fine for you. Both diets essentially require you to starve yourself. It will work for a time, but then it will backfire on you, because your metabolism will slow down dramatically to protect your body.

I'm doing weight watchers, and I've lost 8 lbs so far. It's a little slow going for me, since I just started my 6th week on the diet. That being said, it's the healthiest way to lose weight, and the one most likely to have lasting results. (I don't mean WW specifically, but eating smaller portions of healthier foods).

Angel L - I hope you realize that chicken IS meat. If it was an animal when it was alive, then it's meat when it's dead. Durr.
fruit and veggie diet.
You can do raw or cooked vegetable and even combine it with fruit, and even eat some chicken, but keep red meat, and soda away. I lost 20 pounds in 1months just by eating small portions a lot of water, even apple juice, a little chicken somethimes, but no meat, I mean no meat. a little exercise like situps would help. when I started I lost 4 pound in 2 days. I was 115, and then I started eating a little more because I was loosing weight so fast, it scared me, I got to be 95, not nice I just wanted to have a normal weight like 110, but it worked fast.

There are many diets that work and work well. The vegetable diet seems really good but research the down side. The 500 calorie diet seem suicidal. I would never do it because your'e starving your body.

Best diet I've tried; diabetic diet: don't overload your plate; small portions but 3 meals and 3 snacks daily. On your plate; 1/2 should be vegetables, 1/4 meat, 1/4 starch (corn is a starch so don't add to veg.). You still need to eat healthy foods, cut down on fat, trans fat, cut out most sugars, high fiber, etc. But you don't have to cut out everything all the time. I occassionally have a tiny piece of cake but I balance it out later with something else. My hubby lost 25 lbs in 1 1/2 months. I was able to have a healthy baby and only gained 23 lbs during pregnancy.

I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.
