Are thighs supposed to touch?
Question:
Answers:
It's perfectly normal for thighs to touch, most women of a healthy weight would not have a big gap between their thighs unless they had a really wide pelvic structure.
I thought them touching was a sign of obesity or something?
it all depends on how youre built. i honestly think i could lose all the weight in the world and my theighs would still rub together when i walked
Mine do, but then again I am overweight...
if your thighs DONT touch, there is something majorly wrong
If they are touching my face then that is quite acceptable.
I think it's just the way your body is made. It depends on if you have larger hips or not. It's not a bad thing.
ewww. cleavage
nope if they touch it means you have pounds to lose but it doesn't necessarily make you overweight (over 20lbs above recommended weight)
lose 15 lbs is enough to change that in some ppl
not really but everyone built different
"socially acceptable in a woman" no woman is built the same, my thighs touch, my sister who is pretty darn skinny, her thighs touch. you would have to have like almost no curve and be skinny as hell to not have your thighs touch. My personal opinion would be that I think women with "curves" are so beautiful. women without curves are also just as beautiful, but society has a lot of people thinking that if you have curves, you're fat and that is just simply NOT true. Every woman is beautiful! Good question sweety.
If your thighs don't touch, you're bowlegged.
I dont know about any 'socialy acceptable' thigh touching rules.but I do know that big or small thighs are beauty in the eyes of the beholder. There are some men who like skinny thighs-so if you look like a 12 year old boy, there you go. But some men like some meat on them bones, something to wrap around, make em feel like a real woman has a hold of them.
Me? My opinion on my own thighs: Would like them to be not pastey white, less cheezy in the back and more muscular all over.
But not that much, because if I *really* wanted them to look like that, Id work out and stop eating crap and take the time to use fake tanning lotion or tan outside.
I dont care-my husband doesn't either.
it depeds on what you weight is like im 5'6'' & 117 & they touch.not bad though if you want to tone them then lie on your back & move them in & out *like together -open*
hope that helps
I guess it all depends on who you are and what body type you have. If you're a skinny little thing with no real curves, your thighs will probably not touch. If you are of a thicker build - be it muscle or extra fluff - your thighs may touch.
As far as what is more "socially acceptable/desirable" in the US, we are such a Euro-centric country, the European beauty standard prevails. So, thighs touching and curves are probably not as well received by some.
If you are a healthy size, height and weight proportionate, I wouldn't really sweat it as it doesn't matter as long as you like it. It's your body and YOU have to love it before anyone else will.
No they are not supposed to overlap or rub together. There should be a small amount of space all the way up to the crotch of an adult female. Any overlap means you are either not fit or have a little too much fat there.
If you are of normal weight, you might be genetically inclined to heavy thighs and hips. Especially if your ancestory is from a very cold climate. The fat insulates and protects the body from cold especially around the midsection to protect an unborn child from cold.
If you are of a normal weight range and physically fit, other than liposuction there isn't much you can do. I don't reccomend surgery to remove fat. Fat is necessary for the body to protect you and survive.
It's normal if thighs touch each other cause that shows the healthy weight in a woman. Many woman have this perception on how legs are supposed to be but it's stupid and it doesn't matter on the size of the leg. We are beautiful the way we are.
Someone said she was 5'6 and 117lb's and they touch?
I'm 5'8 and 160lb's and they don't touch. So it's not really about how much you weigh, it's about your body shape and build. It's no big deal. I doubt that they are or are not supposed to touch. Don't worry about your body too much. Are you happy with you? Is your lover happy with you? Are you healthy? That's all that really matters.
