I'm 12. I really want abs. How can I get them?

You are a bit young to do any sort of weight lifting, so that is out. Let your bones finish growing before getting into anything like that.

As a girl, you will naturally accumulate some fat between your skin and abs. You can keep this to a minimum by walking at least 30 minutes a day (you don't need to run; same cautions apply to the developing bones). Don't worry about a little bulge; it is natural.

Finally, try some ab crunches (not full situps). Be sure to protect your lower back by lifting your upper body off the ground by tightening your abdominal muscles - not your back. Support your neck to avoid neck pain or injury. Start slow, then add reps (repetitions) until you are comfortable with your progress. Then you can add crunches to either side, and then add a 5-lb. weight you hold across or above your chest.

Don't overdo it! It comes with time and steady practice. Make it a daily habit to do 10 crunches, then slowly add to it.

Eat healthy and drink water. And watch the sodium intake.
First off your still growing but you can keep working out and when you get older you should get the abs
