Am I too fat?

Question:
I'm 5'9'' and 305 pounds. I was thin about three years ago when i started liking food a little too much and my girlfriend seems to be a great cook feeding me a few of her dishes. I don't know if i got fat on purpose or if food seems to be drawn to me. So far i have a wide and bulgy belly, a big and wide butt that can hardly make me sit in small chairs, and a double chin. Is this too fat and if so how can i be who i was three years ago?

Answers:
I used to have serious over weight problem for years and I was the kind of people quite easily get sick & tired. Thank god, once I met a new friend in a family gathering and he told me a very good site that I later found so helpful. The site taught me great workouts and diet tips and showed me what I had been doing wrong to address my over weight problem... Here is the good thing and you might wanna to check out more. Good luck!

You would technically be considered obese.
I would have to say YES, you better get yourself a healthy eating plan and get that *** movin or you will be sorry!
I am sorry, you are very obese.
Your BMI is 45.0 and a healthy BMI is 18.5-24.9.
Tell your girlfriend to make healthier dishes. It's surprising to some how good they taste. Start drinking more water, and eating a lot of fruits and vegetables, those are always good for you and they are yummy.
Oh and just exercise, a lot. You'll get healthier sooner or later.
Well , i use to be 295lbs when i was in the 5th grade but from my experience i think one becomes kinda addicated to food one reason is due to comfort and also because as one get higher in weight ones stomacth size inceases thus it takes more food to make them feel full/ satisfied. I kinda know what your talking about with your girlfriend and her food. When i met my gf i was 185lbs and then i jumped to 215lbs but i started laying off her food and got back to 185. But anyway if you want to lose weight start doing cardio go for walks or buy a tread mill, or try swimming, but the main thing you want to do is try to keep a good heart rate when exercising so you can burn calories, typically one who is higher in weight burns more cals than a thinner person due to the fact they have to work harder. If your one who follows the old fashion three meals a day, i really think you should consider eating six small meals as this will speed up your motabolism! while at the same time keeping meals 2 hours apart. You will be suprised but that works very well! Umm as for diet try just watching you calorie intake, try to keep it around 2000 or anything much less than what your regular intake is now, but you also need to lay off sweets and soda, on a good note your body is probly retaing allot of water so you should be able to drop about 15-20lbs of water easy
trust me it will get use to this over a period of time as more you make this a part of your lifestyle.
