Answers:
Try walking 2 miles at a good, steady, brisk pace..see if you aren't a little tired. And THAT'S why it's good excercize.it's aerobic.
As long as you are out and moving and get your heart rate up to at least the "fat burning zone" for 20min a day, you can lose lbs! PLUS it's healthy for you all around!
well, walking requires movement from mostly your lower body and your arm. exercise requires some form of movement. so even if you walk at a slow pace to school or work, you are exercising since you are moving. hope this helps.
your body is burning calories every second of the day. the more activity you do the more calories you will burn. its very simple. whats there not to believe?
Of course walking is gonna help you lose weight.

How it's done is explained nicely here: http://www.perfect-body-toning.com/walki...

The gist of the matter is how long, how frequent and how high the intensity of your walking; these will determine how much fat calories you'll burn and lose weight.

Race walking, heard of it?

This type of walking really cranks up your metabolism to burn off fat.

Don't say don't believe the benefits of walking....

Try it out. Just walk for 30 mins per session (that should get you to cover about 2-4 miles), 3-4 times per week and see how it goes with you.

You'll love it.

And don't forget that walking alone isn't enough in the weight loss department.

You need to eat right - a well-balanced, healthy, weight loss nutritious diet, to help in losing weight too.
