You're just like a lot of other people, even though knowing you're not alone may not help you.

Everyone starts of with lots of enthusaism. It's exciting to learn new stuff. What happens is you probably get bored and the honeymoon is over. I'll bet you have the same problem with any weight loss program.

What you need to do is treat it as if you're starting all over again. Look at the goals you set. If they seem to far away, then pick closer ones. Instead of concentrating on the final weight loss you want, start thinking of it in 5 lb increments and celebrate everytime you succeed.

if you have a bad day and go off plan, chalk it up to a learning experience and get right back on track as soon as you can - that day or at the latest the next day.

When you want the weight to come off and stay off more than cookies, more than ice cream, more than sitting in front of the TV instead of walking then you will succeed.

A lot of people don't succeed entirely the first time, but the successful ones come back and try again and again if they need to. This is true of any plan.

You can do it. All you have to do is want it. Picture yourself successful and everytime your motivation starts to slip, close your eyes and see the successful you.
