avoid alcohol, sweets and sweetened drinks
eat well balanced nutritious meals - watch portion size
Whether she is somewhat active or fairly sedentary a good way to get back to routine basic exercise is walking 30 minutes daily 5 days a week.

High protein and veggie diet always works for me. I use core secrets, it is pretty low impact. I should listen to my own advice more. LOL. Portion control is key.
