Question:
Answers:
do you need to lose weight?
some young people think so but don't really.
If you really and honestly do, then try some exercise. As long as you're eating properly then a little excersise should do it.
eat less
go to the gym
special k cereal for breakfast?
If your school starts when mine does, I'm inclined to say that it's going to be pretty unhealthy to drop 10lbs in that span of time, or even 2-3 weeks longer.
well yeknoe juss tell her that yer full already but be careful not to eat too much!

Eat small meals three times a day. Be consistent, never skip a meal. Try to walk, or jog a few miles at least 3 times a week. It'll work. DRINK LOTS OF WATER STAY AWAY FROM SODA.
Excercise daily, drink a lot of water, and eat 5 small meals a day (make sure its low in calories and healthy).
I would suggest jogging for at least 15-20 minutes a day as well as a cardio workout.
How much do you weigh now? Basically multiply that by 10 and make sure the daily calories don't exceed that. In conjunction with working out everyday (preferably in the morning), you should lose about 2 pounds a week. Anything more than that will be water retention so don't starve yourself (your body will go into an emergency mode and store more fat if you starve yourself).
And avoid diet pills. They don't work and are very unhealthy for you. If you REALLY want diet pills.. just drink a cup of coffee or two in the morning... thats essentially all diet pills are.
Just don't eat dessert or anything that's rich in carbs during dinner because you're not gonna need it anymore. Sugar and carbs are only meant to be consumed if you are gonna work out later. And when it comes to your mom, explain to her about having healthy weightloss. I'm sure she just doesn't want you to get sick or anorexic.
don't barf. That's so nasty. You don't have much time. Just wear black for now and do it the right way.
Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/ca... This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

Try exercising.
I walk about a mile a day, have a bowl of cereal for breakfast, with bits of fruit. And sensible meals for lunch and supper. But, don't skip meals.
Portions should be the size of your palm. Drink half your weight in ounces of water.
For the meals that you can control, eat lots of veggies. Try not to eat sugar (no sodas, fruit juice, candy (obviously)). Drink water with your meals. Also watch the carbohydrates. Stay away from bread. Don't have sandwiches for lunch, have salads. For breakfast, don't eat cereal, try grapefruit, or some other fruit (fresh not from can). If you have to eat carbs for breakfast, have unsweetened oatmeal. If you have lots of control over your breakfast, it's best to start the day with plenty of protein. Have a lean piece of chicken or fish. I know it doesn't sound very breakfasty, but it works. Even a boiled egg isn't bad.
The big thing is to exercise. The best thing to do is cardio. Keep it simple. Walk everyday. Try to stay at a pace so that you don't get out of breath, but are walking briskly. Work up to walking an hour or more at once. Remember, a good rule of thumb is that the first 30 minutes of exercise like this is just burning off sugar. After that you start burning mostly fat. Just make sure you don't overdo it.

Just eat only complex carbs, no or reduced processsed sugar, lean meat, and lots of veggies. It will make your meals low caloried and yet filling and healthy.
I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.
Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.
