Diet, Exercise,School Tips included in answer please

Answers:
Make sure youre eating healthy fruits as snacks and part of breakfast, and veggies are also good for in between meals. My roommate and I love green beans and will often snack on them out of the can. Taking the right vitamins is also good for you. Maybe you can take up some activity at school and stay active. If that's not your thing try jogging or running around the neighborhood or going on bike rides. School tips that'd i've give would be to stay on top of your assignments. When you start letting them get outta control, that's when the stress starts and when that happens it's not good for your body. Sleep is a good key to being healthy. Make sure you're getting at least 7 hours if not 8. It'll keep you focused and ready to go. Drink plenty of fluids, staying hydrated is also a must. Find little things to keep you active. When i'm watching my favorite show- during commercials I do crunches or push ups so i'm not just veggitating. That's great that you want to live a healthy life starting now. Most teenagers are focused on playing video games and eating junk foods. Keep your positive outlook and you'll do great!
Number One, go EASY on the soda and fast food. Especially french fries.

Number Two, stay active. Engage in different sporting activities rather than focusing on a single sport.

Number Three, take a multivitamin everyday. My pharmacist told me to give my 14-year-old son Flintstones vitamins until he is sixteen.

Number Four, recognize when you are feeling stressed and learn effective ways to cope with it.

And finally, Number Five, don't fall into the teenage trap of becoming a 'Night Owl.' Go to bed at a decent hour, get your sleep!
Well, if I knew at 14 what I know now at 52, I would have stopped eating all foods that have sugar in them, and learned how to portion control all foods that are high glycemically (convert quickly to glucose during digestion). I would have learned that 15-30 minutes of exercise a day - which can include housework, yardwork or any activity that makes you perspire after about 10 minutes - is good exercise. And I would have learned that the reason I wanted to go to sleep in class after lunch was due to the lack of the above coupled with a blood sugar imbalance (pre-diabetes syndrome).
