Which is the best home gym equipment?

Question:

Answers:
First of all, be aware that only a very small percentage of home gym equipment owners actually use it for any length of time, so my suggestion is to get something which is versatile but not too expensive. My recommendation would be the TotalGym 1000 (unless you're over 220lb or 100kilos - then get the heavier model). It comes with a booklet that shows many exercises for the upper body as well as some for the legs and back. It's adjustable to accommodate different ability and achievement levels, it's collapsable, and it's not very expensive when compared to one like BowFlex. Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkley use theirs all the time, if you believe their commercials. I have one and I quite like it.
Various sized dumbbells and a step bench.

You can do every exercise with those.
When it comes to free weights, there's no such thing as "best". But if you're looking for machines, "bowflex extreme 2" is the best there is. You can literally do 70 workouts on this simple easy to use resistance machine. You don't believe me? Go to http://www.bowflexshop.com/bhg_microsite... and see for yourself!
