Answers:
Fruit is your best energy booster--apples are great for you. Then protein & high carb foods---a whole wheat bread PB sandwich is a good idea.
Crackers & cheese & sausage are also quick & high-energy.
Don't worry about calories at all--you're burning it all off. But DEFINITELY drink LOTS of water. Gatorade is NOT better than water..stick to ice water.
