Answers:
For the same reason smokers don't stop smoking, ie: the idea of stopping smoking (or starting exercising) is more stressful than the benefits they could get.
One size does NOT fit all.
PS: yes I do exercise and I do like it but hey I know people come in different flavors... and it doesn't mean one has to be despised because s/he is different!
more than you bud
No i haven't excercised..
People are lazy too..
you have to realized that others do not have the same mentality that you have
Well some people are lazy, others feel they don't have the time, some choose to ignore the health benefits, and others simply can't because of other health problems.
Take me for instance. I was heavily into Martial Arts- I got Anemia real bad. I was unable to exercise because it would rob my body of the precious Iron I need to stay healthy. Now someday when I do get my levels up to normal and can maintain that I can start exercising again. Now that doesn't mean I can't take a walk or do simple things like stretching or simple non stress exercises at home.
*I can answer that one. Some people have a sensitivity to heat, some have back injuries, hip dysplasia, asthma, etc. I have all the above and I do what some would call "the Strippers Dance". It builds your "core" mucles, is slow, but deliberate, and low impact-VERY beneficial. I dropped 3 sizes in 2 months from it a few years back , and have picked it up again.
The reason people do not exercise is because the world we live in today is lazy and wants others to do the things for them instead of doing those things for themselfs. You can't make people exercise, lose weight, or care for their own health it is something that they themselves most do.
It's easier to be lazy. But I totally agree with you. I remember the doctor once told me I was bolderline Hypertensive. I increased my work out (from once a week...he he he, to actually 4 to 5 days a week). Within 2 months (when I was due back to the doc), my pressure was text book for what a "normal" pressure should be. Exercise, the stuff works.
cause i'm lazy!
;D
OK, so i exercise daily...well no, well at least like 3 times a week, but i have neck and back problems not to mention when i run my knees start to hurt bad, xD i luv running and jogging--u? I LOVE EXERCISE BUT the problem is EXERCISE doesn't like me, whatever that means :D
