School starts in 2 weeks. does anyone know how i can lose 5 lbs.?

Question:
i just turned 13 and i am 5 feet tall and i weigh 115. how much should i lose before school starts. i want to lose 5lbs... what are some things i can do?

Answers:
Take your dog on a walk if you have one. Ration your meals down a little. Do some work outs early in the morning. Get out side and get sweating. Good luck.
Take a look at www.healthyfitfinancial.com
You may need to ask your guardians first as diets are usually restricted to 16 year olds? Goodluck.
jog! and start eating fat-free
Eat 6 smaller meals during the day instead of 3 large ones. Cut out soda(except diet), fruit juices have a lot of calories too. Cardio, cardio, cardio. Good luck.
wrap plastic wrap around your stomach, it makes you sweat aton, and you lose fat by sweating
Eat a balanced diet and stay busy so that you don't snack. Eat like a smoothie or something healthy for breakfast, a pretty big lunch and then little to no dinner. Its better to eat more in the middle of the day than in the evening because you have the rest of the day to burn the calories where as at night you go to sleep and the calories don't get burnt off and turn into fat.

Set goals of yourself, walk a distance every day and eventually make that distance longer. Also do push ups and sit ups every morning and night. Start with 15 push ups and 30 sit ups, then progress to 20 push ups and 40 sit ups. Push yourself but pace yourself at the same time.

And jump at any opportunities of activities such as soccer, swimming, etc.

Best wishes!
First thing to note is.you only want to lost fat, not muscle, because losing muscle can be bad for your heart and your body's other organs. Losing muscle takes longer and means you need to exercise while you cut back on calories. One way to do that is to eat half what you're used to eating for each meal. If you feel hungry between meals add a bit of string cheese, a hard-boiled egg or complex carbohydrates, such as a few nuts or grains. You do this to keep your blood suger at an even level. If you eat sugary stuff or food high in regular carbs, you will burn it up fast and then feel even hungrier. Experts have changed the essential food groups they recommend over what they used to say. Check out what the USDA has to say: http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/fpyr/pmap.h... Congratulations for "thinking thin" and using common sense before weight gets to be a huge problem in your life.
some of these are long term goals, some not.
build muscle. it'll take your extra fat.(fat that didn't get burn)
i don't exactly remember how.

drink lots of water, eat nuts and raisins to increase metabolism
workout.
eat healthy.
eat slowly, because it takes awhile for food to digest, so
it takes awhile to be full after eating.

eating slowly will allow you to know when you're full to eat less.

don't sit in front of the tv while eating.
pretty much pay attention only to your food when you eat
also allow your body to tell you when you're hungry, when it growls, eat.

do aerobic exercises

do 2 30min exercises then have a 20 min break you'll lose more wight than not taking breaks at all
play music that you enjoy, or music that makes you feel like dancing to you'll exercise more/longer

you can run in one place for 15 min per day or more.
or run up and downstairs. or jog/run/walk around your block.

then slowly increase the time, by 5 min per day.
and if you're gonna do sit-ups, cutches, pull=ups, etc. add 10 per day

starving will get you skinnier but at the end of it when you eat normally again your body will be saving it,
and you'll gain weight faster
like bears saving their food for the winter.

also laughing for 10-15 minutes
burns75 calories

If you get cravings in afternoon, it means you're not getting enough food in the day.
Have and extra half apple, or an extra of something healthy for breakfast or have a snack before
yur usual cravings start everyday.

Really do! It took me 19 hours altogether
to put this together.
I went through all my magazines
and look through the internet, for good sites
ask families and friends, and thought what i did
to put this together.
And read newspaper.
Also i'm a very slow typer.

FYI i give this to anyone trying to lose weight or build muscles and i finshed this a few days ago.
Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy.

It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.

Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.
