Answers:
If you are really sick with the symptoms you mention, the best thing you can do for yourself and other party goers is just to cancel. Colds take time to go on their own, or a bit faster when aided with vitamins like Vitamin C. But nothing can make it go fast enough for a swimming party today. You only risk passing the cold to your guests and making yourself even sicker if you do decide to go ahead to swim in your condition at the party.
get lots of rest, take airborne, and eat foods high in vitamins/minerals/lean protein.
Ya dude I'll tell you what. Go to the store and pick up some Vitamin Water by Glaceau, they sell them in all the stores now. You want to get the "Dragonfruit" Power-C because it has twice your daily dose of Vitamin C. Get two of those and drink them, and you should be feelin' alright.
sweat it out?
good day
make sure that exercise on a regular basis. but dont do anything serious that will kill you. run around the block, drink med lemon. push ups will increase your body temperature then you might be fine or so. but make sure that exercise a little.
