Are "nature made" vitamins worth my money?

Question:
I am buying the vitamins that convert food into energy is this a total scam and not work at all?

Answers:
All food is converted into some form of energy, be it in the form of heat, metabolism, fat, or muscle, regardless of the vitamins.

Vitamins should be used as a type of "insurance" so that you can cover all the essentials that maybe missing from your diet. Vitamins also help and can in some cases inhibit the absorbtion of some minerals and other vitamins. It's more important that you eat a balanced diet full of whole foods and and veggies. Any vitamin is worth the money as long as it's not breaking your pocketbook.
