Exercise Help, Workout Question?

Question:
I am just recently starting to eat right and exercise. I currently weigh about 270 lbs, am around 5'9, and am female. Everywhere I've been looking online, it states to start out with 30 minute workouts, and gradually increase. My problem is that I can't make it to 30 just yet.
So, if I do a 20-22 minute workout (which seems to be my breaking point right now), in the beginning, will it still be enough so that one day I may eventually make it to 30 and up? Or does a 20-22 minute work out really do nothing, and I should brave the pain, and go on longer??

As you can tell, I'm really inexperienced, and this whole "being healthy" thing is new to me!
Thanks so much!

I can tell where you're coming from, really I can. The thing is to start low, it builds your body's system inside to slowly get in shape. Slowly increasing your time you can work out for, like let's say you can do 15min pretty well. Well if you can do this, then the next time, go 2 minutes or so longer, make yourself. the more you get your body to regulate that it's going to start working out more and more, the easier it gets, even though it doesn't feel like that AT ALL. The way not to lose weight/work out is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did.lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. I love being a couch potato and I am not overweight, thankfully
Any amount of exercise is beneficial. 20-22 minutes isn't bad at all! I'm sure you'll make it to 30 min if you keep on exercising. Good luck!
My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website
http://www.health-thin.info , they have a free trial and you only pay 4.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!
That is fine-if all you can do right now is 20-22 minutes-its OK.
Since you are new to working out,you need to start slow so that you do not hurt yourself. Just do as much as you can and you will work your way up to 30-45 minutes.
