Is this a terrible snack?


Question:
light ice cream (it's half the fat) with either chocolate or carmel syrup on top (no fat, just sugar...) and then some low fat 1% milk, a milkshake but a semi-healthier version

i mean that is way better than regualar ice cream, i just love ice cream and was wondering if that is alright to eat, when im not dieting, just trying to keep my weight steady as how it is now!

why not? just make sure you eat it in moderation and not after a big meal. it's not an ideal healthy snack but i don't see any harm in giving yourself a little treat. plus, you could probably use the calcium. just eat it as a special treat. don't make it an everyday snack. enjoy!

Just because it has no fat doesn't mean it's healthy...Sugar = calories! Try some low-calorie yogurt or something. I'd definitely stay away from chocolate and caramel unless it is a rare snack.
That sounds ok! Just stay away from the french fries, a recent study has shown that the worst possible snack you could have is french fries!
You could just enjoy a float with diet soda, less calories, no syrup, and just the ice cream's calories. Diet dr pepper berries and cream and IBC diet root beer (in the bottles, yum yum) are great choices.
It depends on whether you're active or not. Carbs will turn to fat if they are not used up during activity. Still I wouldn't recommend cutting out the ice cream, because we sabotage ourselves when we outlaw a certain food. Have you tried WeightWatchers ice creams? They're low fat and low cal. Super yummy. I don't feel like I've sacrificed anything. I've lost 25 pounds in ten weeks, and I never begrudged myself a sweet treat like WW ice cream.
I would use frozen yogurt, fresh fruit, and skim milk.
It is ok to have snacks like yours occasionally.

I do that once in a while. But remember, all those sugars and calories add up, so if you are snacking on ice cream daily, you may find yourself back dieting.
