Is it better to work out every day or every other day?

Question:
i hear that people do it everyday, but sometimes i here to do it every other day to let the muscles relax or something like that, which makes you stronger?

Answers:
It all depends. If you have a routine where you work out 6 days a week you should separate the routines. One day you can focus on chest, arms, and back. The next day you focus on abs. The third day you focus on legs. Then you do it over again.

Or you could work out hard every other day.

Or you could work major muscle groups on one day and the next day do muscle groups such as abs, delts, etc.

It all depends on what you want. You say you want to be stronger. You should lift heavy and do small amount of reps. This will give you a body that looks like the hulk. He has no definition just mass.

Don’t forget that a major part of working out is your diet. If you are building muscle you need to eat a lot of protein. About 2 grams of protein per pound that you weigh.
i exercise every day (even the weekends) once in a great while I'll allow myself to skip a day or two. i find that exercising every day gives me energy and i need lots of that due to the fact that i have three kids. exercising also gives me a sense of accomplishment. the harder i workout the better i feel. so all in all i would say exercising every day is best. but i also think that it depends on the person. also it IS always best to be examined by your doctor that way he/she can let you know what is best for you to do. GOOD LUCK!
