How do you curb cravings?
Question:
Answers:
If I were you I would not necessarily include chocolate in diet everyday per you may not be able to control your appetite once you intake sugar in your system.
Gum is a option but it will allow air to be in your stomach and cause bloating. Maybe do this part of the time to help you curve appetite but it's not really a solution.
I suggest you drink a glass of water every time you get a craving. You will be surprised to know that this works most of time. Just drink the glass of water then wait 15 minutes for the craving to pass. This will save you the extra calories and pounds.
I got this from a very good personal trainer...you should try it.
Best thing is that it is free and practical and you can do it no matter where you are.
Hope this helps you...
Good Luck!
Just allow yourself a certain # of chocolate per day. When you reach that amount. Make an agreement with yourself, to have no more, it does work and you do become aware of how much you really do have.
just keep it up.
chew some gum
As somebody told me a long time ago: "Suck it up candy@$$! You're in training!" but that doesn't always work now does it.
Problem is you can't really do much to control cravings unless you essentially program yourself to ignore them. But like the candy@$$ statement that's not always possible.
The best thing to do is to simply give in occasionally. Treat yourself once in a while but be careful that you don't eat too much. If you're craving some chocolate have some, but reduce the amount you take. Have a few bites, but don't eat the entire thing. If you can't do this you need to get strict or have somebody else take control of your chocolate stash and have them portion it out occasionally.
