Which is better yoga or weight training?
Question:
Answers:
You need to do both. You can't choose between stretching and muscle-building. Proper fitness requires both. Now you do get some toning in the yoga, but not enough to build mass or properly strengthen your bones. On the other hand, the stretching increases you range of motion for weight lifting, in addition to decreasing risk of injury. And don't forget some cardio!! Neither of these strengthen your heart of increase endurance--that's where cardio comes in.
Yoga!!
My opinion!!
=)♥
Either. It depends on what you like to do.
You could always try both :)
Both--and put together they should be.
Yoga is great for stress relief and a bit of cardio, and weight training is great for toning and developing muscles.
better for what?
Either can be lifelong, but yoga has a calming effect that is helpful for total wellness.
Both are great for the rest of your life.
Why not do both?
both can... I think yoga is dangerous because I feel so paralysed afterwards. everytime I do it I wander if I will drop dead or end up in the hospital and vow never to do it again... but then I remember that I can lose a pound a day from practicing yoga...
seeing the human body perform Yoga amazes me, much more so then weights, Yoga enhances all areas plus doesnt make a person look like their muscles went on a freak out!
It depends on what you want to do for your body. If you want to become more limber try yoga. If you want to obtain more muscle mass try weight training. Both can become lifelong practices.
I have been doing both for years. Yoga is great for stretching and weights are good for building solid muscle. I like both. Which do you prefer to eat, the plain bread or the plain butter? I also did martial arts and then got into meditation. See site below to see what discoveries that led me to.
Well, that depends on your goals. But for a lifelong thing I would say yoga is best. It is so much more than just a simple exercise but deals with feeling your body and experiencing it in a way that you can support your external and internal parts.
they r both good
but Yoga is better coz it makes u think positive while u r doing it
it's more spiritual

Both forms of training together is the way to go.
They are complimentary.weight training shortens, contracts, strengthens, and bulks.Yoga reverses the effects of the bulk, stretches, gives more definition, and releases tension (thus, less soreness post-workout).
yoga in my opinion its much more than an exercise its relaxing and strengthen your whole body, you should really look into it!
you could try both, alternate days.
Hi,
I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.getgoinfo.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 4.95$ shipping and handling.
Good luck!
