Can or will you die from drinking a beer followed by a sleeping pill (50 mg)?

Question:
Any reasonable responses would be helpful...

Answers:
I don't know. Prob. not, but the beer will increase the sedative effect of the sleeping pill. It is not recommended! Why take the chance? It would be best to take the sleeping pill and forget the beer.
Everybody is different, but no that should not be enough to kill you. But, it's not a good idea to be combining alcohol and sleeping pills.
One beer? Not likely. However, you shouldn't take alcohol with sleeping pills. It will increase the affects of the pills and having too much alcohol with the pill can cause serious breathing problems, coma, and possible death.
maybe a case and 2000 mg
No but be very careful mixing booze and pills
alcohol and sleeping pills-- one depressant and one depressant/narcotic.. dont mix them! there could be serious consequences-- your heart could stop beating or you could slow way down on your breathing then your brain wouldnet get enough oxygen and you could pass out! which can lead to a coma and even death!
When I can't sleep, even after I've had a couple beers, I take a couple Tylenol " Simply Sleep ". They're 25 mg a piece of diphenhydramine. I haven't died yet. but I'm not giving you a suggestion. Just my experience. Depending on any other health problems you may have, it could be dangerous. I guess the best answer that anyone could give you, to your exact question, would be.. " Yes, you COULD die from drinking beer and taking sleeping pills."
