How tall am i going to be?

Question:
i just turned 15 in june and im 5 foot 7, i have quite short parents (mum 5 foot and dad 5 foot 6) but my uncle, cousin and half brother are all roughly 6 foot if that makes any difference. other than that the majority of my relatives are all at least average. i would like to be 5 11 but is that asking for too much?

Answers:
There are many formulas for trying to determine a child's ultimate height.
One is to add his parents' heights together, add six inches for a boy (or subtract three for a girl, and then divide by two. Another method is using their height at age three. In boys, the three year old height is 54% of their adult height. In girls, it is 57% of their adult height.
My anatomy teacher once told me in class that when growing a male has until he is around 25 where he reaches his ultimate height altogether while a female has until she is 18.
There is no way to determine exactly how tall you'll be. If you want a rough estimate, look at relatives in your family about your age.
if you are 15 years old you are probably close to being done growning, depending on when you hit puberty. I bet you haven't gotten much taller in the last year. You might grow another inch but not 4. Sorry, but 5'7" is a great height most women would love to be at. It's tall enough to fit into most clothes but not so tall that all normal jeans are floods on you. Pants that come in "talls" are often plainish and not the fun trendy stuff you can wear now. 5'7" also looks great in a miniskirt without being taller than the guy standing next to you.
