How do i reach my maximum muscle compacity doing pushups? Would i have to just keep increasing the sets of how many i can do until muscle failure? Right now i can do 45, 30, and 22. Should i increase sets to 4 and so on?
Answers:
Yes, do about 15-20 sets of as many pushups as you can do until failure. This way you can effectively stimulate the muscles and help build muscle. Doing only 3-4 sets will not stimulate them enough.
do it at an incline...put your feet on a couple books or something against a wall...or put some books on ur back to increase the weight...Idk how big u can get doin pushups though
