Calories Question?

Question:
Say for instance if you eat 1500 calories and then you do exersice where you lost 500 calories does that mean you are taking in 1000 calories a day or 1500?

Answers:
In simple terms if you consume 1,500 calories ignoring all other body energy requirements like staying alive. Then you use 500 calories during exercise your net balance is plus 1,000 calories.

Your consumption though is still 1,500calories.

What you have to understand is that the energy in food (calories) is the essence of life, too much and grow fat and develop life threatening illnesses too little and you die.

You body is not interested in the amount of food you eat. What really gets it excited is how many calories are in the food you eat.
did u flunk math, duh
you are still taking in 1500 calories, you are just burning off 500 of them
It means you "took in" (consumed) 1500 calories and that your body "burned (used) 500 calories.

So you are eating 1500 calories a day.
it means you are eating 1500 but you are burning 500, this is much more healthy for you than eating 1000 straight and not burning your 500, you will look healthier and slim faster by burning your 500 and eating 1500,
no u taking actually 1500 calories Aday, and ur body is doing its work (metabolism and vital biological activities) in the way of losing such calories, what i mean u calculate ur daily calories on what u eat today not how much did u exercise.
do u know that part of ur daily calories is used by ur body to maintains it is temp at 37 Celsius so you don't lost calories in just exercising ( although it is the major ) part there r other ways .
You have still taken 1500 calories in. But most energy you actually spend AT REST, not when you exercise. When you do regular exercise you are not just burning those 500 calories. You are also increasing you metabolic rate, which means you burn more energy when resting or doing your normal activities.
You need to factor in your basal (resting metabolic rate) also known as BMR.

Total calories burned = BMR + energy burned due to exercise

For example, if your BMR is 1600 calories per day, then your energy burn would be 1600+500=2100 calories/day.

If you are eating 1500 calories, then you would be in a 600 calorie deficit per day which would cause you to lose fat at a healthy rate of over 1 lb per week.

Here is a BMR estimator:

I hope that this helps.
