Hi, a very good type of exercise is one called kalanetics (maybe spelt with a "c") it consists of small movements of the muscles also try yoga and Tai chi both good body disciplines
ASSUMING u do not have any health problems, u could do sit-ups, push-ups, legs lift (for tummy trimming) at 45° angle, or simple yoga with DVD or VCD instructions from a certified instructor..
Remember, that is only based on assumption that u have no health problems.
You can use the stairs, assuming you have some. Just go up and down them a few times a day and that should tighten your leg and bum muscles. You can also use tins as free weights for your arms. A skipping rope and trampoline don't cost very much either and are good for cardio. I find one of the best places for exercising is on the soft sand of the beach.
Try walking up and down the stairs
walking and exercise(joga)
The best exercises that you can do at home are:
squats
walking lunges
stationary lunges
lateral steps
push ups
crunches
leg lifts
torso twists
jogging
stair climbing
cycling if you have a bike
Consider investing in a stretch band(s) they are very cheap and a good substitute for weights.
Otherwise its stretching, yoga, and tai chi. If you have a garden/yard then skipping. You can do stepping on a concrete step or similar.
Tins of beans can be used as dumbells for high repitition exercises.
For a bit of fun try some juggling.
Finally there's all house cleaning for a light workout.
i recently downloaded an e-book that contained nearly 200 exercises. The e-book was called Workout Without Weights. It's broken down into 4 exercise targets (calisthenics, upper body, lower body, trunk). Those 4 are broken down into beginner, intermediate, and advanced. They discuss ways to develop a routine and judge your advancement.
it will cost you $20 though.
use the stairs more and gardening is physical exercise
