Yes. However, drinking hot tea with sugar free sweetener or lemon juice will do it too. You're getting the 'full feeling' after drinking the hot beverage.

It's the FOOD that you put in your mouth that will help you lose weight... Eliminate the white stuff: sugar, flour (bread, pasta), rice, potatoes. Do that for a week, and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Drinking water with or without lemon will help you to loose weight. Actually drinking it cold burns more calories because your body has to use energy to warm it up to body temp.

No and im sure its a bit bitter! and if you add suger then its not helping you lose weight! and lemons and acidic and having a lot could cause stomach upsets and even ulsers which are not fun belive me!
the best way to lose weight is to have a balanced diet with low fat milk etc, and a brisk walk everyday
drinking any water with lemon juice is good for you - if you do it in the morning it is better and more effective. (it doesnt make you loose weight it just helps the process)

what it does, in the morning when you wake up drink a glass of lemon juice and water,you can even use grapefruit juice, this will get you gastric acids working and this helps with digesting your food. go for a walk then have a healthy breakfast.

P.S you can also use a little orange juice as sweetner if it is too sour. but make sure its freshly squeezed.
If you are prone to being fat: The lemon juice may help to loosen the fecal matter in your bowels which is beneficial. But the the truth of the matter is: Take control of who and what you are. Eat less, Be smart and do some kind of cardiovascular workout everyday. Be positive about what you want. Have faith in God and pray for strength. Don't forget that you are special and that if God is who He claims to be in the Bible, that He will hear and answer you!
