are you waiting for something, worried about something, anxious or probably you are unconsciously depressed.. i have felt that way before too for a couple of weeks..after a friend died, it's like all my hunger went away and i just ate to live basically, then i started to paint more (a big hobby of mine) and that is when i found another hobby-working out(which i now LOVE) and that made me happier and helped me live past it ..once i started to live "normal" again i got hungry and didn't have to force feed myself anymore... so maybe you should try to be happier and try to figure out what the problem is.

Go the doctor and ask he or she this question.
If you don't eat your blood sugar will be low and this can actually make you feel like you are not hungry. Get yourself on a schedule and eat healthy meals full of protien and veggies. Hope this helps
For me the big question is, are you at a healthy weight for your age, size and body type? If you are I wouldn't worry about it. If you can see all your ribs I would, and you maybe need to go on a more planned diet to make sure you get everything you need as a growing young woman. The fact that your Dad feels the same indicates that it may be heriditary, or maybe you guys are just thinking about other things too much. All the best.

Your body adapts to the situation, whatever your body is going through it finds away to deal with it, sensory adapter or something like that, when you go into a room with bleach at first its hard to stay in there but after a few minutes you don't smell it anymore its not because the smell went away. Same with eating the body doesn't like to starve or to lose weight so if its not getting enough food your body puts itself in survival mode because it doesn't know when it going to get more food, your metabolism will slow significantly. So be prepared when you start to eat your body is going to store everything as fat. I'd slowly start eating more small meals, your body has gotten use to not eating.
