Losing 5 pounds?

Hey guys! My name's Chelsea. I'm 19, 5'1", and weigh 120 lbs. I'd like to get down to about 112-115.

My good friend is a nutritionist so I've been well educated in making healthy choices in food, as well as portion control. I'm going to start walking about 4 miles every day (the length of my neighborhood) to speed up my weight loss.

How long do you think it will take me to get down to my goal?

If you stick to a reasonable 1500 calorie-a-day diet while walking 4 miles a day, you can drop 5 lbs the first week.
5 pounds is very easy. 4 miles a day would definitely be a good help.

Love the additional info. It'll probably take you a month or two to lose that five pounds and keep it off...but I'm not sure you really need to.

5 pounds is nothing as people will fluctuate daily without even trying. Consistency is the key. Just make small changes and remember to weigh yourself like every other day at the same time of day. Don't weigh yourself every day or you will drive yourself crazy.
If you actually walk 4 miles a day and eat rght then you could lose 5 lbs. in a week or two.
As long as you stick to your diet and walk every day you could loose the weight in 1 to 2 weeks.

Just eat only complex carbs, lean meat, and lots of veggies. It will make your meals low caloried and yet filling and healthy.

Do brisk walking. They are great for burning body and tummy fats.

I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.
