To answer your question, no, growth hormone is not illegal. It is a controlled substance and used for therapy to treat various conditions including AIDS, height problems, and chronic fatigue syndrome. It's not bad as long as it's taken properly per a doctor's instructions, but in order to use or possess it you need a doctor's prescription for it.
Muscle growth that you get while on GH will be lost, as happens with other steroids. The amount of gains you keep is entirely dependent on how hard you work and how your diet is. Typically you will manage to keep a fair amount of the gains, but it's not easy.
It's not bad, it just costs too much for the average Joe. I can almost guarantee you all Hollywood guys in their mid-30s+ are taking it. I'm not talking about some over the counter sham either, I'm talking Doctor administered shots.

no not really, GH aka growth hormone can be used to help a person who lacks GH but i dont believe that the effects of it can be reversed because your body does not constantly need GH. I doubt whether it is illegal because a lot of people use it as a medication (people who are born smaller than others).

it is illegal in the usa. yes you will lose muscle size eventually. the same with anabolic steroids. this is because your natural growth hormone will shut down after you use hgh for a while. hgh is not as bad as it is made out to be. it is far safer than most over the counter drugs. it can repair damaged joints and ligaments. it can add years to your life. it is a miracle drug but what good are healthy people to our government?
thats the stuff that use to be in milk right, i dunno, these damn hippies and their organic products, I heard hormones in foods we eat such as McDonalds and Milk is what causes all these teenage and pre-teen girls to develop like they've never developed before, i guess thats good for pedophiles and bad for society, maybe thats why it isn't in milk anymore....hmmmm
