Shrimp lo mein... good diet food?

Question:
fitday.com says

1 cup =

218 calories
9g fat
22g carbs
13g protein

Answers:
Yes. That's a very balanced meal. Good fat/carbs/protein profile with less than 300 calories.

Just be careful of carry-out lo mein, which may not necessarily fit that Fitday nutritional profile. It can be higher in sodium and fat than the homemade version. Also be aware of portions, since it's easy to misjudge a cup visually.

I've included a link to a homemade version of lo mein from Cooking Light that is very nutritious and easy to make. Be aware that the serving size is 2.5 cups, so the calories are higher. But if you half the serving, it's almost identical to the Fitday lo mein.

Best of luck!
you forgot one important ingredient, sodium. any and all chinese food is loaded with it. VERY BAD diet food.
