How much weight should I lift?

Question:
I want to keep a good form for weight lifting but im just not feeling it. I don't know whether I should use light weights or 50% my max weight to lift to get a perfect form

Answers:
go for at least the weight equal to your own weight...
2oz
three times of your weight , your have to lift
you should lift as much as you can don't over do it, or you will get hurt.
To be honest I would say 50% of your max is still light. I would go anywhere from 50 to 85% switching it up the reps. The main thing is to take your time make sure your doing it correctly and not using momentum to lift the weights. Just make sure you have a spot.
it depends how old you are and how strong you are im nineteen my dad lifts 50 pounds and does that thing where he pulls it up to his chin and down and up like 36 times and he can do the same thing with his feet 25 times hes 40.for you about 35 pound reps.
Its hard to used to perfect form. It takes practice. If you do your excercises in front of a mirror its easier. As for the weight you want to use a weight that will stress your muscles but not fatigue them. I'd say about 70% of your max. Keep you movements fluid and flowing. It should take you anywhere from 3-6 to get through the positive and negative part of the movement. I watch in the mirror for you form. Also, check out bodybuilding.com for vids on form.

The Syko Ward
lift to where it feels like it's a little too much, where you feel some resistance after 10-15 or more reps. and then after doing that for a while, you would be able to lift more, so either do the same weight/ more reps, or more weight/less reps.
You should lift about 75% of your maximun.
