i love this stuff.anyways,best way is this. when you wake up,take some.30 minutes before work out, take some.immediately after work out,take some,and right before bed,take some.depending on how hard you work out depends on how much you take. generally the rule is 1 gram of protein for every punod you way.well i work out every day for about an hour at medioum intensity so i take about half of that but if you work out hard than you should follow that rule.hope his helps.
the best time would be to take it right after your workout and right before bed. the rest of your protein should come from whole foods like chicken ,beef, fish and eggs. whey protein is absorbed very quickly into the body. whole food is digested a bit slower giving you a steady supply of protein.
I drink this right after a workout, and it really seems to help me feel refreshed and more energetic.
I use the designer whey protein, and make into an iced Frappachino drink.
I use 1 scoop of Whey Protein (usually chocolate), small cup of coffee with splenda, and blend it with ice.
the above answers are all good and one added bonus I find by taking it immediately after a workout is that it knocks back my appetite. I used to be starving after a workout and would pig out.
If you have spare money you might want to look into creatine and glutamine. Mix these with one of your shakes.
