Moderate or HEAVY??

Question:
if i run 4 - 6 miles on the eliptical 5 days a week and do 200 situps/cruches 1 day a week is this considered moderate or heavy exercise?

Answers:
Moderate.

It's not so much quantity as it is quality. You've got part right, the elliptical is good. It gets your body working, and it's especially good if you have problems running (like knee issues).

The situps and crunches deal is jacked though. You should really try to get a reasonable amount of calisthenics in on a daily basis, or at least every other day. Pushups, situps, mountain-climbers, flutter kicks, squat thrusts, jumping jacks... do all of these. You don't need to do 200 of each but do the best you can.

Try doing as many pushups and situps that you can within 120 seconds as a challenge.
moderate...and stupid...200 situps/crunches 1 day a week is a waste of your time along with doing 5 days of eleptical..you need variation..bike,treadmill even if not running walking on incline...your body is goin to stop responding and you will get bored
heavy
