If I do 11 minutes of GOOD crunches and ab workouts a day will that lose my stomach fat?


Question:
I know running helps but I just want to knwo if doing sit ups 11 minutes a day ( I have an excercising ab workout) will make me lose my stomach fat?
( Plus 8 glasses of water and perhaps 2 waffles with maple syrup a day ( I really like for breakfast) But everything else I eat is healthy?... I hope that makes sence

Yes, it will help a little bit. You will get the ab muscle but if you want it show you will have to get rid of the fat.

The reason for this is because if you gain the muscle but don't lose the fat. The muscle will be sitting underneath the fat and you will be able to use your new muscles-but not see them.

To get good results you need to eat healthy and as well as crunches and ab workouts do some cardio. Good Luck!
If you want to lose the midsection do an ab workout and then do cardio. Recent study has shown that the ab workout releases fat into the bloodstream, making them easier to burn.
Can't hurt, but if you are not eatting healthy, you will not get healthy.
You can't target a specific region of your body to lose weight in. Just do a good all around work out that involves 30 minutes of cardio per day minimum as well as some weight training.
I used to hate rigorous exercises but I was also so sick with my big pot belly. Luckily a friend of mine told me this very good site that I found really helpful. Nothing can do you good better than exercise and healthy eating.
Walk up hill, or jog, or use the elliptical trainer; do 30 minutes or more a few days a week. and Eat healthy; belly fat or thighs or hips comes from deep fried foods, too many sugary foods - so just moderate and dont deprive yourself from anything.
Lastly, situps or crunches - in order to target lower part of your belly, u need most exercises with leg raising. so do crunches 50-100 before you go to bed and right when u wake up!
I used to hate crunches but honestly its the best before bed and right when u get up.
Also if you're able to lift weights, do it !!- remember you cant just lose fat from one part of your body. So by lifting weights, light weights 3 sets of 12 - ull burn more fat and build a litttle muscle - but more muscle faster fat burn and faster metabolism. and so is the case with Cardio - you speed up your metabolism up to the next 24 hours.
