I have to lose weight :(?


I just got of antideprssants about 2 months ago. they caused me to gain 100lbs. I hate myself. I wish I never had to even take them. im on pms and I eat so unhealthy and eat so much. Its kinda hard to find healthy food I like b/c my mom doesnt like to shop that much. I cook alot and im gonna be a chef but i get cravings for cup o noodles. I am addicited to cup of noodles.i have a big costco case of them and I eat like 5 a day. they are so good. should I take diet pills?? i used to take them. I think im gonna work out today. why is it so hard to lose weight? I hate this grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Take it from someone who knows! I am on antidepressants now for anxiety...I ahve gained a little but not alot which is good. However, they do give me cravings. Plus it is a known fact that the more "junk" you eat, the more you crace it. Try by having a cup o noodles with a salad and a fruit. This way, you are more full for longer. You don't have to cut everything out you like...just try other stuff with it to stay fuller longer. Plus, go on amazon and look up Leslie Sansone. She has some wonderful work out tapes and they are soooooo easy! Do these 4-5 times a week and just adjust your eating a little bit at a time. And remember, lots of water! I started drinking water and working out and lost 10 pounds just doing that! You can do it!

Regardless of what diet pill you take..if you don't get your eating habbits and type of food you are eating under control, nothing is gonna help.
Why is it hard to loose weight you ask...Read your own email...5 cups of noodles..hello do you have any idea how much sodium you are intakeing..a VERY unhealthy amount...your nuts !

Also don't blame your mother for her shopping, you could go with her. Also antidepressants may cause weight gain but not that much. Contact your doctor there could be a more serious problem.

Its a real bummer this coz I love food-ALL the food you love.And if you have to give it all up you're going to get even more depresed which is going to make you want to eat more.Its a nasty little merry go round which you cant get off,right?
O.K. The key is to exercise.Not only will you lose weight but it will help your circulation,your respiratory system and build up your muscle tone.In your case it will also help your mental outlook.
If cash is short and you cant afford a gym then walk.Walk 4 miles each day and walk briskly.I've lost 2 stone in 3 months doing this and it works.Walk for a couple of hours a day-it doesn't have to be all in the one go-and take NOOOOO snackies with you.
You'll find then that when the weight starts to go so will your need to keep stuffing your face.The less you eat the less you need to eat.
Get this done first and then start and take a look at what you're eating

If you gained 100 pounds in 2 months, you didn't gain fat. There is something seriously wrong with you, and you need to see a doctor NOW.

Your extreme salt craving is another symptom that something is seriously wrong, and that what you have is edema, not fat. Get off the computer and to a doctor.

NO!!! Don't take diet pills.

It is just a matter of self control and smart decisions. I've lost 6 lbs. in 2 weeks just by eating more (yes more), eating healthier, and exercising. And by exercising I do floor Pilates for 20 mins. 2-3 nights a week. On the weekends I go the gym when I can, other than that I just try and find ways to be active. Today I'm going rock climbing with some friends! I even gave up coffee and switched to green tea.
It is not about being your own drill sergeant and depriving yourself or over working yourself by going to the gym 2 hours a day everyday.

Try to incorporate fruits and veggies whenever you can, stick to whole grain products, (carbs are NOT the enemy), and stay away from sodium (like those cup of noodles you like so much), sugars, and cholesterol. You need 2,000 calories a day, just eat those calories wisely and skip the junk foods that offer no nutrients.
Oh yea, check serving sizes... that’s very important.
