Question about Potassium supplements?

Question:
Ok, I take a daily multiple vitamin supplement and it has the potassium as 3% of regular daily allowance - but it also warns against taking more than one. So why does it meet only 3% but yet you are not supposed to take additional supplements? It warns against taking more? Thanks!

Answers:
just eat bananas to get potassium!
I have a multivitamin and it, too, has only 3% for potassium per pill.

But the multivitamin has other things in it, doesn't it? You could end up overdosing on those if you took more than one pill.
