Hey can someone help,?

If you eat a lot of food, and most of it is junk, it is better to cut back on those habits. If you insist upon eating the same types of foods, then cut back on your portions so that you're taking in fewer calories. But please consider substituting healthier versions of your favorite meals!
If you're not exercising at all right now, starting out at a mile a day will definitely help out. However, if you do run the mile daily, you'll find that a mile doesn't seem like a workout after a few months. You should consider upping it a quarter of a mile every two-three weeks, so that you continue to feel exhilarated at the end of each workout. Pushing yourself will get you far better results!
Good luck in your venture - getting healthy is a lifestyle choice - don't make it about the now, make it about your future. You can still eat junkfoods (fried, sugary, etc), but do it in moderation - and try to make most of your meals healthy choices.
go for more than a mile, but thats a good start.
You have to eat healthy to beable to see good results with excersizing...
use the treadmill 30 minutes everyday, and a healthy diet, whatever u mean with what u usually eat. dont eat junk food

In order to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you take in. You also need to increase your metabolism (can be done with cardiovascular exercise). A mile isn't very much, two miles would probably only keep you in shape.
I suggest running and biking. Not on a treadmill though, there is a big difference (you can try for yourself). Biking is good for the cardio.
If you want to lose weight, stick to a diet of about 1200 calories a day. If you want to have a treat, then make sure you either take that out of the 1200 calorie allowance, or do enough exercise on that day to allow for the extra treat.

First any exercise program should be started slowly. Try walking for a mile for a week. Then increase distance each day or 2 up to 3 miles. If U can walk 3 miles without being winded than try some running. Walk a mile, run a mile walk a mile. U might consider using weights to increase upper body strength. Even with a good exercise program U still need a good food plan. U can probably eat everything U eat now just not so much. U will need to keep active if U want to keep the weight off.
If your eating a lot of junk food the tredmill will just be pretty much useless. Maybe you could also also alter your diet a little unless you already eat healthy. Than you will get in really good shape.
That depends on what you usually eat. Running a mile isn't very far. I run about 21 miles a week, eat a low calorie, low fat diet and I still have love handles. You can't eat whatever you want, whenever you want. If you want to get in shape, you have to live a healthy lifestyle and that includes eating well. Running a mile, at your weight, in 11.5 minutes (which is REAL slow) will burn about 100 calories. A McDonald's Hamburger (yes, the small one) has about 280 calories. If you only run a mile a day, and if you don't eat well, you will never get in "good shape." Sorry. Eat less and run more: you'll be happier.
a treadmill is a GREAT idea
don't start out too fast, you might run/walk in order to keep your heart rate in a good zone for fat burning
because you are still a teen you have a LOT going for you, especially growth factors and testosterone increasing
as you get used to the treadmill start upping the minutes, you will need a TV or something so you don't get too bored
Let's say that you do 20 min run/walk in the morning and again in P.M.: that's 40 min. and as yuo get into better shape you will be able to run several miles in one day
That is the time to start adding resistance training to your routine, that means weights or machines if you go to a club that has machines. If you are at home just buy a couple of hand weights, probably either 15 or 20 pound ones. Do some pushups and stuff and use your weights and you will see results so fast. It is very rewarding at your age because in just a couple of weeks your body can change a lot.
Plus you will be getting taller and you will look much better as you make a litle progress. Also you are forming good habits for a healthy lifestyle your whole life.
Keep up the good work!!
i would eat better and exercise more. running does get you in shape but you have to do more than that to lose weight.
good luck! hope this helps!
its good you are running but i don't think you will be skinny of at least a good 2 years (sorry) and to lose wate you need to put your self on a diet you cant eat what you normally eat sorry
but you can treat your self to some thing nice once in a wile
i was 182 pounds before but now am 36 how somebody adviced me to go to the gym and stay on diet for one good year and i did that but i had sometrouble about the diet thing at the beginnig althought i had two peaple watching after me and month after month i have been reducing at 13 pounds and now look at me 36 pounds amazing
Nope you cannot eat what you usually eat and lose weight! Sorry! Diet and Exercise is the only way to lose, they go hand in hand. Speaking from experience here.
You need to do the exercise and simultaneously control your appetite. There is no point in eating a lot and trying to reduce weight. Eat healthy food, but in moderation. Try not to drink too much alcohol as well. They all contribute to weight gain.
well it depends if ur really fat now and wat do u eat u might wana eat more heathy foods and for the best results go on a diet eat heallthy foods
