I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

Ah basically ten pounds depending on whether or not overweight tends to be extra water weight which wont cause muscle lose. But if you are in generally good health and lose ten pounds the right way diet excersise and lifitng weights you will be fine. Starving yourself and doing that will cut straight muscle your body will store up all your fat and lose your muscle so depends on the program and your health level

hi i am a peronal trainer and yes you can do it. but it is hard. it involves a lot of work.
i recomended you go and talk to your local gym and ask them to give you some ideas as i cant see you i cant really say what things would be good as every person is different.
lots of full o cardio liek bike riding and treadmills and rowing would be good also pilates are good for it as well.
but your local could really help.
you also have to eat well not stave yourself eat really well.
