Help me please!!?
Question:
i only eat about 1500 calories max
how come i am still gaining waight?
i gaines 5 lbs in 1 week
it this muscle or fat?
Answers:
This `weight gain` MUST be muscle mass which is building up due to the reigorous exercise you have just descibed. In time, this muscle mass WILL CONVERT ITSELF INTO FAT as you grow older.
However, there`s another issue you must think about here.
It is the fact that depending on both your age and genes, that it is VERY probable that your rate of metabolism is decreasing rapidly due to these natural factors, so you`ll then be gaining weight, which will be DIFFICULT to lose afterwards.
So, be careful about your calory intake and pay more attention to your weight by monitoring it on days you do and do NOT do exercise.
Some people, like me who are slim find it hard to put on weight because of a high metabolic rate which occurs naturally. Others gain weight very fast without realising it and find it hard to get back to their initial body-shape.
The exercise you have been talking about MAY NOT be the actual trigger to your weight gain. It CAN be masking the weight gain which is occurring as a result of a low metabolic rate...So think about also!
it is prolly muscle you could go talk to a doctor? you may have a problem that is causing the weight gain
Muscle is heavier than fat so you can get heavier when you build muscle
You're gaining muscle mass.
I would suggest talking to a nutritionist or dietitian to see if you should be eating more food per day as well because you may be getting under nourished if you are doing that much working out.
if you're really doing all that, it must be muscle.
muscle weighs more than fat.
have yu noticed inches lost? firmer? toner?
Are you drinking tons of water?? Maybe water weight gain. 5lbs in 1 week is NOT normal though. Your body might be in starvation mode & is trying to hang on to every piece of fat you have...what you are doing sounds very unhealthy..be careful.
Is your body getting tighter? If so this is muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. Don't go by the scale, go by your measurements and if your body is tighter than it was previously. Sounds like you are doing a great job. Be sure to take your vitamins esp if you are cutting out foods that your body may need to process other things in your body. You do need some fat in your diet otherwise your body cannot use some of the vitamins that are fat soluble. Great job.
Most likely muscle. It's a known fact that muscle weighs more than fat! And a healthy diet for males is 2000 calories intake, and girls 1500 calories intake. Males have the bigger option because you have more body room for muscle building. And don't excersise everyday! Every two or three days then resting and just walking the next day is a healhy way to build a body. Your body needs a full 24 hours to rest and heal from all your body building and excercise. See everytime your lifting weights, your muscles are tearing internally, but it's a good thing, because they tear to make room for the growing cells that provide muscle. And all day tearing means bigger muscles, but only if you allow them a full day of rest to heal back up so that you can re-tear them open again the following day to make your muscles grow! If you think about it this way, a tub of butter that you buy in the grocery store weighs 3 lbs. That's a lot of unhealthy fat in a tub! And your calorie intake must also include a majority of healthy food! It's easy to take in 1500 calories of junk like chips, hamburgers, and french fries. You need healthy foods to help you too! Lean meats and lots of fruits and veggies, Drink the V8 fruit drinks they contain veggies too! And their not bad. And always everyday drink 8-10 8oz. (1 cup) glasses of water! When you pee it should be clear or close to it! The water is helping you flush out your toxins! All those unhealthy foods makes your acne go crazy! And it's not wimpy for a guy to eat a salad. My husband eats a salad everytime we go out to eat on the weekends, and when he can't find anything to snack on at home. Also, portion your meals and space them out. Eat 5 times a day, smaller portions and listen to your body when it's satisfied, not full. This will also help you burn calories faster. And eating almonds is a great sorce of iron, and healthy fat. Almonds are the healthiest nuts out there! Macademia nuts are the fattiest! So don't stress when you gain 5 lbs. it's most likely muscle. Any part of your skin you can pinch and get a good hunk off of yourself, is most likely fat. If you have trouble grabbing it, then you have no fat there! Keep up the good work! Goodluck!
