Summers nearing an end and i want to know how good i did?

Question:
i started at 182 at the beginning of summer and atm i am 174 by the time school rolls around i'll be 171, and my goal is to be 155-160 by new years. I don't exactly see stellar results but its only been 8 pounds so i'm not too worried, I have noticed small details such as my love handles have gotten alot less handlier lol, and my adams apple really shows now and just stuff like that.

Anywho, do you guys think i made good progress this summer? and do you think my goal is possible by new years?

Answers:
You have done a Great job!! You are on your way to your goals.
CONGRATULATIONS! You did awesome.
Wheather it's 2 pounds you lost or 20 pounds. It's a good sign that you are making progress.

Losing 8 pounds in 3 months is actually a pretty decent job. Just make sure you are losing weight the "right" way. The wrong way would be starving yourself.

With a good diet plan and cardio, you should definitly hit 160 by New Years, especially in the rate your going.

Also, remeber- calories and carbs aren't necissarily your enemies, a calorie is only a unit of heat, and when it is burned it turns into energy. Carbs too are a source of energy.

1 carb and 1 gram of protein each have 4 calories in them. 1 gram of fat has 9 calories, which is why you can eat double when eating clean as you could when burning fat, and still get better results.
Great Job! Keep up the good work!!
