i found that running is the best workout for me,and ill do some weight lifting about 3 times week just to keep a little upper body strength.
drink a glass of water before eating to detour your appatite. try to eat three large tomatos before a meal!. this way you wont be as hungry.
do 10 pushups twice a day. then in two months do 15 and so on.
do 20 squats every day. or just try waling around the house doing squats, thats fun! lol

To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing.
As far as a "healthy weight", that's what most of the other posts are about (calculating your BMI, diet plans, etc). but most people will say what the "average" is according to different opinions.
As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight... not that you "should be X pounds", but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that
That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more.
Cardio workouts are a good way to tone the body.
First things first, you will NOT get bulky. No need to worry about that.

This is a whole foods approach for gaining muscle while losing fat.
Make sure you are weight training at least 3x a week for 30 minutes & then do cardio intervals for 30 minutes 2 x a week (this includes the 5 minute warm up, 20 minutes of cardio intervals, 5 minutes cool down)
Take measurements when you start and weigh yourself when you start. Then stay off the scale & away from the measuring tape for two weeks.
Fat loss is ALWAYS better than weight loss.
Try some circut training, that's where you combine cardio and aerobics, doing each for about 30 seconds, and switching for about 30-45 minutes (a very good workout!! Keeps your heart rate up!) Also, eat protein, and plenty of veggies. Cut sugar completely out of your diet if you are trying to lose fat weight, that sucks I know, but it's the quickest way!! Just remember, the more you work out and the fewer calories you put into your body, the more weight you will lose. Good luck!!
