What to do after weights workout?

Question:
I am beginning bodybuilder. I am new.

Answers:
After a weights workout, your body is starving for carbs and protein. Initially, a sports drink such as Gatorade would be preferable, followed up a half hour or so later with some protein. Milk is probably your best friend right now as it has carbs, fat, and a ton of protein. Just remember, your workout is where you work your muscles, but you build them between workouts by eating massive amounts of protein. The accepted formula is 2 grams of protein for each pound you weigh (i.e., 100 pound person should eat 200 grams of protein daily). Hope this helps!
Eat carbohydrates, when you lift, it depletes the glycogen in your muscles, and glycogen is a form of sugar. It will reduce soreness, and speed up recovery (strengthening your muscles)
Eat carbs and protein. No fats if you can help it
do a 2-3 min "warm down", stretch, protien shake, rest.
Speak to a professional at a gym to get proper information. Before and after any workout, you should always warm up first (fast walk and run for at least 15 mins followed by stretches) and cool down after (run ending with fast walk and stretches)
recently prove by American Studies best drink after excercise is milk, providing it is low fat this provides protein, potassium and was found to keep a person hydrated for about 4hrs.it was tested against leading sports drinks and the article was in last weeks Daily Mail.
