Which muscles are worked while jumping on a trampoline?

Question:

Answers:
Mostly legs, especially your calves since that's the muscle you use to push off. You can get somewhat of a core workout by flexing it when jumping.
Legs
Mostly your legs (calves, thieghs, hamstrings etc.). Your abs will be worked a bit, so long as you tighten them. If you are doing gymnastics, like backhandsprings etc. you will also work your arms a little bit. It's not enough to see major muscle development, but it will help tone.
If you are jumping vigorously.all muscles are worked.
I am a trampoline coach and it is a MYTH that the legs are worked out during trampolining.

Trampolining is a CORE STRENGTH exercise and it exercises every single muscle in your body.

NASA use trampolines to train their astronauts as it is the only exercise which can strengthen all the muscles as well as a load of other benefits.

Info on the report is here:

Or check out www.online-trampoline-coach.co... which also talks about the exercise benefits and provides a free e-book teaching all the moves.
