Is it a good or bad sign that my muscles ache a bit after a work out? Like a day or 2 after?

Question:
I stretch before and after to avoid any injury and is it okay to continue working out even if your muscles still ache a bit?

Answers:
Yeah, it's actually a good idea to keep working out. What you feel is lactic acid, a by product of using up all the oxygen in your muscles. If you don't work out, the lactic acid will remain in your muscles longer.
Of course it's okay to have muscle aches.
Most people say not to workout when you're still sore, but I usually do anyhow, and I've never found anything wrong with it.
no pain no gain

baybay
its a good sign because it signifies that your exercise is working and the fats are burning thats why there is pain.
its good that means ur workin hard. make sure to keep stretchin when you wake up and b4 you go to bed, it helps a lot.
it's fine, it just shows that you got a good workout & worked the muscles good. i kinda like when i'm a bit sore like that, it shows i actually did something!
if u're still new, or u have just changed ur program to more work outs, then it's ok, and a positive sign, unless it's like killa pain,

but i alwas have it after i'm off a long time, and that happens and i'm a teenager so it's ok, but it should get better with time.
I agree with Erulechto, but I would add that you can prevent this from happening or lessen it's severity by breathing deeply during exercise and drinking green tea before and after.
They have lazed too long. continue with the practice and it will be ok. Hot water fomentation before workout may not be a bad idea.
