The main form of exercise i do is jump skipping on a daily basis
some days i like to switch it up and go shorter amount of time ( 15- 20 minutes )but at a higher intensity that gets me breathing hard
and other days i go for a longer time slower paches ( atleast 30 minutes )
Its good to switch it up so your body doesn't get to used to one type of workout
From what I've read
Higher intensity + shorter workout time = Burns mostly Carbs until you run out of carbs then you'll be burning alot of fat.
Slower intensity + longer workout time = After 10 minutes of burning ATP energy it switches directly to burning fat for fuel.
High Intensity + Short time > Low Intensity + Long time
if you are trying to gain muscle that is.
a slow paced long one. its better to get your heart rate up slowly and maintain it for a period of time. it burns calories and fat better, and is better at weight loss. and its also better at building your cardiac endurance
fast paced short exercise cuz the faster u go the faster ur heart beats and the faster ur heart beats the more weight u lose
this depends on what you are wanting to achieve,
if you want to be fit then the slow paced long exercise is probably better
if you want to be strong then the fast paced short exercise.
I recommend a variation in you regime however, it is always better to mix things up. So try fast paced one day and slow paced the next.
